Iowa football: Hawkeyes football coach Hayden Fry dies at age 90

Hayden Fry died on Dec. 17, 2019, at the age of 90. Fry won 143 football games and the hearts of thousands of Iowa football fans in his 20 seasons, retiring in 1998 while fighting prostate cancer.
